Android 365: Day Twenty-Two

I'll give you one guess what I'm drinking tonite and if a Margarita isn't at the top of your list, then you'd be wrong my friend ;-)

So, I was doing some research the other day and was curious what the difference between a really cheap tequila (like Cuervo and Sauza) are lacking that the more expensive ones (like 1800 and Patron) have. As it would turn out, the cheaper ones are only about 51% agave and the rest is corn syrup and grain alcohol. I just never felt like I needed to question it, thankfully a well timed Google search saved me from the mistake of purchasing yet another bottle of Sauza.

Droid X: Wedding Day

Today kicks off our first wedding for 2011. I'm excited to welcome my Droid X into our inventory and try to snap at least one good photo with it. I'll have to do it on the DL since I'm afraid of what the guests may think, plus I've got to do it without it making a shutter beep. One way or another, I'll get a wedding photo for Day 21. It will most likely be posted really late. The fun begins at 1!

Android 365: Day Twenty

Liam and I took a drive this morning out into the country. We were scouting for something fun to do, but mostly I was trying to entertain him. He was having a rough morning so we figured a little fresh air and cruising in daddy's new ride would be good for him. Ok, ok... I just wanted an excuse to go for a drive in my new car, so I took Liam out for a spin around the lake and we stopped along the way to take a few pictures :-)

Android 365: Day Nineteen

Ok, so the last couple of days have kind of sucked... I know. They're not horrible, but they're just not really great either. I promise to do better and to try some cooler things with the camera, rather than just trying to capture things that look cool. Which is what I've done for the last couple days.

This evening I was driving home and liked the view up ahead of me. The sun was below the horizon and was giving off just a little light before it became completely dark. I like the lines of it and the motion it conveys. So... it's a decent photo, but nothing spectacular.

Liam? ...again? What can I say? He's cute! I took a break for a little bit today and just spent some time hanging out with him. We popped a bag of popcorn and watched Thomas and Friends Misty Island Rescue. Right now it's one of his favorites. Plus he got to eat popcorn, which is a really big treat because he can't get enough of it! Kinda like me :-/ So, we had a good time, sitting on the couch next to each other and munching on some delicious popcorn.

Android 365: Day Eighteen

Had a reeeaaaaally busy day today and just a few minutes ago I thought "Oh Crap! I didn't take my photo for today!" So, I started thinking of something to take around the house or out in the yard... then I remembered that I DID take some photos! I guess it's kind of becoming a habit :-)

I was walking through a tunnel and I really noticed the cave-like musty smell in there and wished I could have conveyed that through a photo. Maybe someday...

Android 365: Day Seventeen

I took this one while out for a run today. The wind was amazingly strong and a bit chilly... I didn't dress appropriately. One of those days where it looked a lot warmer than it actually was. On the way out the wind was with me so I didn't notice too much but all the way home I was running into a headwind. All in all, it was a really good run, just cold.

At the turn around point, I looked back up this hill and thought it looked pretty cool. So, here it is. Day Seventeen.

Android 365: Day Sixteen

It's about 90F today and tomorrow it's going to be 45F. We've got the air going and all the fans, since it got to 78F inside the house before I realized it... woops! It's just now back down to 73F. I wanted to see what the fan would look like through the camera, so here it is. On the phone it looks pretty good. When I get to a computer, I'll see how good it looks on a larger screen and perhaps take another photo.
