Android 365: Day Sixty-Four

We're gathering up all our necessities and camera equipment in preparation for a Tornado Warning storm that's a few minutes away. I had some photos, but I might get to those later. In the meanwhile, I'm going to continue getting ready just in case.

Update: So, the storm has passed... bad part of the storm that is. There's still a nice light show and plenty of thunder. So, I stood out on our porch for a few minutes trying to get a good shot of the lightning with my phone. After about 5 minutes, success!!! It's a pretty decent lightning photo, especially for a phone. So, with about 20 minutes to spare I got a photo worth posting :-)

Have a great day ya'll!

Android 365: Day Sixty-Three

Took a fair number of photos today. There was a pretty killer storm this morning, so Liam and I took a drive and took some photos. I was really hoping to get some lighting, but it just didn't happen. I've got a lot still to do tonight, so that's all I've got time to write about.

Hope you enjoy the photos. And thank you so much for taking the time to look at them!

Android 365: Day Sixty-One

Sorry, I accidentally posted this to my personal blog yesterday. I didn't miss taking a photo for the day, just failed to publish it to the right blog. 61 days now and no photos missed. Just a few publishing errors. So far so good.

Any guesses what this is a photo of?

Android 360: Day Sixty

So I had this idea last night to take a train video for Liam (that's my my two-year old) the one who's in some of the earlier posts playing with trains. Anyway, I wanted to take a video of a real train and see if he would like it. But, I didn't want to take just any old video. I have an "old" (2004) Sony point and shoot that does pretty decent video. I haven't used it in a while, so I figured I'd set it up in between the tracks and let the train go over it while it's recording. I really thought it wasn't going to make it through the ordeal. I didn't know the clearance of a train. I just set it as low as I could while keeping it sturdy. I had two other cameras rolling in different locations. I'm planning to edit them into one clip. I'll embed that video at the end of this post. Here's some I took while I was waiting for the train to come.

Android 365: Day Fifty-Nine

So yesterday's post might look like I was just sitting down to watch a movie around 10pm and I suddenly realized... "oh $%#!, I forgot about my picture today!" The full moon was lighting up our living room and I was trying to take a photo of it coming through the window, but the low light photo abilities of this camera, well... ummmm suck? Then I went outside and tried to get one of it in the clouds, as they were moving quickly in front of it. Hmmmmm, now they wouldn't be moving behind it would they! That would be something to see! Anyways, random.

I'm pretty sure that through my posts for the day you can tell what kind of mood I'm in. If they're short or non-existent, I'm probably a bit stressed or tired. If they're long(er), like tonite, then I'm most likely either feeling pretty good or I'm just in an exceptional mood. Perhaps it a little of both today. Not exactly sure why, because I've got a ton to do tomorrow, but nonetheless I'm in a good mood.

These were taken in Eudora... oooh no wait, Edgerton. I always mix those two up. They were taken in one of those two cities, well they're not really cities. One of those two towns? Really small places where more than 20 houses are gathered?

There's a couple of not-too-shabby tennis courts on the way out of town that I stopped at on the way home today. I took another one of the fence, which I uploaded but has yet to be seen. I think it got lost in the airwaves. Speaking of flying through the air... we just watched Thor today. It was pretty good! I go to a movie now like once every 6 months, so almost any movie in the theater with a bucketfull of popcorn is probably going to be good. However, I think that regardless of my prolonged absence from the theater, that this movie was good anyways. Flying through the air.... oh yeah, my fence picture. If it shows up later on I'll include it in the post. If not, well you're not missing much. I like these two better ;-)
