Android 365: Day One-Hundred-Five

We spent most of the day in our deck pool yesterday. It's not as posh as it may sound... it's literally an inflatable pool that we set out on our deck. It's nice though, about 9 feet long 4 or 5 feet wide and deep enough to be fully submerged. Anyways, we fill it up every time we use it, which is about once or twice a week. When we've drained it before I've always thought it'd be pretty cool to take some photos of the water from outside our basement door, where the water is coming down.

So, that's what this is. I've got some other photos I took with the D700 that turned out pretty sweet. They were taken at 1/8000 sec shutter speed so all the droplets are stopped. I'll post one at the bottom of this.

Android 365: Day One-Hundred-Four

Liam and I had to go to the mall today to take back some clothes. There's a ton of construction going on, so he was pretty inquisitive, but really timid was always about a half a second away from jumping in my arms. I thought he might like to look at the carousel so we went upstairs for a birds eye view, and while we were up there I noticed these candy machines.

I stopped on the overpass on the way back to our house. There were some cooler clouds that I was hoping to get, but they had passed by the time I made it to the exit. I'm happy with this one though!

Android 365: One-Hundred-One

Playing in the pool again. I liked how the water moved when I was spraying the hose underwater and agitating the surface.

I've also included one of the clouds that I noticed while I was soaking up some rays. There's going to be a video at the end of this one. A 60-second portrait of what I was seeing. I may begin to include more of these.

I haven't been able to get the video to upload yet. Still working on it.

Finally got it. I couldn't upload it via Blogger, the file was too large. So, I had to transfer it to my computer then upload it to YouTube and then now embed it in this post.
