Android 365: Day Twenty-Nine

I was looking for a nice bottle of Pinot Noir, when I noticed this wall of backlit wine bottles against the window. I don't imagine it's a great location for the bottles unless they really move these bottles quick and get them out the door to customers... but who am I to judge? I'm just the guy with a bottle of Pinot Noir in one hand and a camera phone in the other.

Android 365: Day Twenty-Eight

I like the very short depth of field in this one. It makes my eye move all over the image trying to find something in focus... and then there it is, a small little piece of the jeans that's in focus. Yes, it was intentional and this wasn't just an accidental shot as I pulled my phone from my pocket.

I see this water tower a few times a week and each time I do, I think "I've really got to photograph that thing." It looks like a UFO right? I imagine that if an alien was stranded on earth he... could be a she... would probably make their way to this water tower because it looked familiar to them.

A day at the park :-)

I liked the grating and I was snapping some photos while Liam was running back and forth across the bridge and down the slide. He's getting so good at climbing the stairs and then going down the slide by himself.

Android 365: Day Twenty-Four

These were pretty fun. I love going through the car wash. Normally, I just get the basic wash, but this time, Children's Mercy Hospital had a fundraiser price where I could get the top-tier wash AND help the hospital all for $12!

I found out that there were things I had been missing out on this whole time, while only getting the basic wash. A lot more of the brushes spun, I got a rainbow of colors sprayed all of the truck, all of the signs on the left lit up (like ---> Cleaning Wheels, Rain-X, Spot-Free Rinse), it was a much more fun experience :-) Luckily, I had my phone ready to capture what I could of it.

Android 365: Day Twenty-Three

Who doesn't like an old truck? I saw this parked near a local hardware store today and stopped to take some pictures of it. The back window is completely busted and I think it's waiting to be restored, I've seen it parked there for a little while. So, today was the day I finally stopped to take a few pictures.
