I went back to that same park I took the photos of the swings the other day. I like this basketball hoop. Looks like it's seen better days.

Decided our kitchen wall looked especially cool while popping some popcorn tonight.

Android 365: Day One-Hundred-Thirty

Ever since we moved into our house in Baldwin a year ago, we've been wondering how to get to the other side of the lake in town. The main road only leads to one side and then there's a gravel road heading off in a different direction than the opposite side of the water, so one would assume that was not the road. Until yesterday we never really tried to get over there, but after going to the pool with Liam, we made it our mission to find a road that to the "greener" side of the lake. With the help of our GPS it didn't take long at all. A simple Zoom Out revealed the way to our destination and we were there a few minutes and a couple long gravel roads later.

So these are some photos from the "other side" taken through my sunglasses. I love these glasses, because I everything looks better through them. They're a pair of RayBan's that I've had for about 8 years.

Android 365: Day One-Hundred-Twenty-Nine

Went to drop off the utility bill at City Hall, this is how we do it in the little town of Baldwin City. The downtown is kinda cool. Apparently Main Street was laid by the fastest brick layer in the West at that time. That will have to make it into this blog at some point.

I liked the detail on this street sign. Rather than just being a normal sign, it's ornate features add to the feel of the old downtown area.
